RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Orlando, FL that is seeking a Senior Software Engineer responsible for development of software code across all applications, performing code reviews, creating design documentation, and participating and managing all parts of the software development lifecycle.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Design and develop solutions to business problems through software automation
* Identify and fix software defects
* Adhere to best-practice for software development
* Participate in daily standups
* Track and document solutions to software defects using change management
REQUIREMENTS:
* BS in Computer Science or related field
* 10 years of experience with Java or OOP language
* 10 years of experience with SQL
* 10 years of experience with HTML/JavaScript
* Advanced knowledge of the software development lifecycle
* Advanced knowledge of agile development methodologies
* Advanced knowledge of relational databases and database design
* Experience with asynchronous messaging, publish/subscribe
* Cloud computing experience
* Computer/Equipment Skills: JAVA, Spring Boot, AWS, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, SQS, SNS, S3, git, IntelliJ, Teamcity, JIRA
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
